Partner With Us.
We build diabetes education that works, and we’re looking for partners who want it to reach further.
Diabetes care has advanced enormously. The time available to teach people how to live with it hasn’t grown to match — most education still has to fit a single visit, with no room for practice or follow-up. Beta Cell Foundation builds that missing layer: scaffolded courses, interactive tools, instructional design support for the organizations already doing the teaching, and small-group programs where people practice in real conditions.
We reach people living with type 1 diabetes directly: runners in chapters around the world, adults in our outdoor programs, and a community that takes a recommendation from someone with the same disease far more seriously than an ad.
Four ways to work together.
Sponsor a program.
Fund a course, a simulator, a season of chapter meetups, a relay team, or an outdoor trip. You get a defined, reportable outcome — and we report back on exactly what it produced.
Bring our education into your organization.
If you’re a health network, clinic, camp, or nonprofit that teaches people about diabetes, we add instructional design capacity to what you already do — scaffolded sequencing, active practice, and materials built to develop capability over time.
Distribute our education.
Our courses are free and most people who need them never see them. If your company reaches people with type 1 diabetes — as a manufacturer, a clinic network, an insurer, or a pharmacy — putting our materials in front of newly diagnosed patients costs you very little and reaches further than almost anything else we could do together.
Donate product or services.
Technical gear for outdoor programs, diabetes supplies, printing, and translation all reduce our costs dollar for dollar. Product is often faster for a company to approve than cash.
Who we reach.
- Adults with type 1 diabetes across the U.S. and internationally
- Type One Run chapters around the world, coordinated by 15 official leaders plus informal groups

How we report.
Every partnership includes a written report on what the money did: people reached, programs delivered, materials distributed, organizations trained. We track direct cost per participant against our own multi-year history, and we’ll show you that math. If something doesn’t work, we’ll tell you that too.
We hold a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest of four levels — awarded for publishing our governance, strategy, and program results. Our full profile is public. We’ll provide financial detail directly to any partner who asks.
Corporate support is disclosed on the materials it funds, so a reader always knows who paid for what. We keep editorial control of our education — a sponsor funds the work, and never decides what it teaches.
Let’s talk.
If your company or organization works in diabetes, health, or the outdoors, we’d like to hear from you.
